Waruwi is an Aboriginal girl looking after her Nana while the rest of her extended family is away from camp. It's just for a day but what a day it turns out to be. Waruwi discovers a platoon of marines led by a young drummer boy coming though the bush, and the cow they're after has wandered into her camp and she has to find a way to put them off the track!
