Jedda

Jedda This film from the 1950s provides interesting insight into the attitudes and perspectives toward Indigenous culture at the time. The film broke new ground in its era, as it was the first Australian film to star two Indigenous actors. The writing and the story, however, reveal the extent to which racism pervaded mainstream Australian society decades ago. Directed by Charles Chauvel
