Being competitive can be a positive way forward when you’re in a respectful, supportive environment. It can challenge you to strive for your personal best and teach you perseverance. But it can also go the other way and be detrimental to your self esteem, relationships and your wellbeing. Our student panel tonight is representative of some of the finest of our student cohort, known for striving for their best, and involved in various types of leadership in the school. Somehow they still manage to find time to support their cohort, catch fish and appreciate smoothies. This is a conversation about the competitive environment.
