Set against the devastation of war-torn Cambodia, The Killing Fields is a true story of friendship between American war correspondent, Sydney Schanberg, and his interpreter, Dith Pran. In 1975, Dith Pran saved Schanberg from execution of the hands of the Khymer Rouge.
